We understand that the cost of sports participation can be a barrier for some families. To help ensure that every child has the opportunity to play soccer, we encourage you to apply for KidSport grants.
KidSport:
KidSport is a national not-for-profit organization that provides financial assistance for children to play organized sports. The KidSport grant covers registration fees and equipment costs, making it easier for families to get their kids involved in sports. Applying for a KidSport grant can help reduce the financial burden and ensure your child has access to the benefits of playing soccer. KidSport Leduc can provide up to $250 per approved child, per calendar year towards sport registration fees.
For more information and to apply for these grants, please visit the KidSport websites. If you need assistance with the application process, feel free to reach out to us for support.
To streamline the process, we ask that you register using a credit card and select the payment plan option. Once your KidSport funding is received, we will:
Refund your initial payment.
Apply the remaining funds toward your future payments.
This approach simplifies the process on our end and ensures your registration is completed smoothly.
All families applying for KidSport funding will need to select a payment plan when registering for Soccer. The first payment will have to be paid. Once we received confirmation from KidSport that funding is approved, a refund will be issued. If you have any questions regarding funding, please email registrar@leducsoccer.ca.
